Jewish activists cross into Lebanon for tree-planting ceremony

A group of Israeli activists from the Uri Tzafon movement briefly entered Lebanese territory on Thursday to plant trees near the village of Yaroun—less than a mile from Israel’s border. Their message: “Strike roots, plant security.”

The activists, including IDF reservists, called for renewed Jewish settlement in Southern Lebanon, citing historic and biblical ties to the land.

The IDF condemned the border crossing, calling it a “criminal offense that endangers civilians and troops,” and confirmed the activists were returned safely and handed over to police.

Hamas says it never targets civilians—and wasn’t involved in Oct. 7.

At the same time, its leaders vow they won’t lay down arms until Israel is “eliminated.”

In a stunning display of gaslighting, Hamas now claims it’s the real victim—even as it rejects peace talks, denies the October 7 massacre, and insists it will never disarm.

The Office of President Isaac Herzog said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request for a presidential pardon remains under legal review, following public remarks by US President Donald Trump again urging clemency.

Trump on Thursday repeated an appeal he made last November that Herzog pardon Netanyahu, suggesting that Israelis should be “ashamed” if he does not do so.

“I think the people of Israel should really shame him. He’s disgraceful for not giving it. He should give it.”

Herzog clarified that the prime minister’s request is being reviewed by the Ministry of Justice, in accordance with established procedures.

“Only upon completion of that process will President Herzog consider the request in accordance with the law, the best interests of the State of Israel, guided by his conscience, and without any influence from external or internal pressures of any kind.”

🔴 Precision strike: IDF eliminates Hezbollah operative rebuilding terror infrastructure

The IDF confirmed it killed a Hezbollah terrorist on Thursday who was working to restore the group’s military infrastructure in southeastern Lebanon—violating the US-brokered demilitarization deal.

Operating in A-Tiri, the operative was targeted while attempting to rebuild facilities near the Israeli border.

The IDF reiterated: “We will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”

Roger Waters’ “human rights” are a one-way street

When the oppressor is Tehran, he stays silent. When it’s Israel, he grabs the megaphone.

While the Pink Floyd frontman compares Israel to Nazis and parades antisemitic symbols on stage, he ignores Iran’s mass executions, China’s internment camps, and Syria’s genocide.

📊 The numbers don’t lie: The world’s outrage is wildly disproportionate—and the UN is leading the charge.

Israeli medical team deploys to flood-stricken Mozambique

NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief has sent an emergency delegation to Mozambique after severe flooding affected more than 800,000 people and displaced over 100,000.

The Israeli team is operating mobile clinics in remote areas and setting up care centers in displacement camps, delivering urgent medical and psychosocial support as damaged roads, bridges, and power systems isolate entire communities.

Officials warn this is among the worst floods Mozambique has seen in years. A nationwide red alert remains in effect.

Another ceasefire violation in northern Gaza

On Saturday, armed militants were identified east of the Yellow Line after apparently emerging from underground infrastructure near IDF positions in northern Gaza.

They took cover under debris adjacent to Israeli troops — posing an immediate threat.

The IDF carried out a precision strike, neutralizing two gunmen and likely additional attackers. Forces remain in the area to eliminate remaining threats.

This was a clear violation of the ceasefire.

IDF: Ready to shift from defense to offense

Eyal Zamir toured southern Gaza this week and delivered a clear message: the IDF is prepared to move from defensive posture to offensive action if required.

Forces remain deployed along the Yellow Line, dismantling underground terror infrastructure and responding to every violation. “We grant no immunity to terrorism,” Zamir stated, reaffirming the objective of disarming Hamas and defeating its military structure in Gaza.

IDF Spokesperson Effie Defrin added that operations are systematic and initiated — not reactive — and that Israel is monitoring all fronts, including Iran.

A billboard in New York’s Times Square featured Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas with a blunt message:

“Palestinian Authority still pays for killing Jews.”

The display is part of the “End Pay-for-Slay” campaign, supported in part by Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Despite repeated claims of reform, a recent report by Palestinian Media Watch found the PA’s “Martyr’s Fund” remains active — paying roughly $315 million in 2025 to some 23,500 imprisoned terrorists and their families.

The UK’s High Court of Justice has ruled against the government’s ban and prescription of the anti-Israel Palestine Action group as a terrorist entity.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said she will appeal the ruling.

In its ruling on the ban, which went into effect on July 5 following repeated acts of violence, vandalism and break-ins into Israel-related facilities by members of the group, the court said the ban had been “disproportionate and unlawful.”

More than 2,500 people have been arrested for participating in or supporting Palestine Action since the proscription.

Nickolay Mladenov, head of Gaza’s “Board of Peace,” told the Munich Security Conference that Gaza can’t be rebuilt before Hamas disarms.

“Gaza needs to be governed by a transitional authority, as authorized by the Security Council resolution, under which it needs to take on the full civilian and security control of Gaza.

“That includes the disarmament of all factions in Gaza, not just Hamas. there are plenty of them who have weapons and tunnels and production facilities inside Gaza.

“That is the condition under which we can see Israeli forces withdraw from the current Yellow Line in order to be able to begin any reconstruction for the Gaza Strip.”

Hamas officials continue to insist they will not disarm or give up control of Gaza.

The IDF struck a Hezbollah operative in southern Lebanon on Monday after what it called repeated truce breaches.

In recent days:

• PIJ operatives targeted near Majdal Anjar, east of Beirut

• Hezbollah weapons depots and rocket launchers struck

• Ongoing efforts by the Iranian-backed group to rebuild military infrastructure

The US-brokered agreement required Hezbollah to demilitarize and the Lebanese Armed Forces to establish control.

Israel says progress has been “encouraging” — but far from sufficient.

Israel Today speaks with top Kurdish official, who stresses: Iran’s protests aren’t just about Tehran.

Beyond the capital, unrest is spreading into regions long defined by repression — including Kurdish areas the regime calls provinces, but many Kurds call East Kurdistan.

In an interview from Erbil, Kurdish political figure Arif Bawecani argues:

• Nearly 15 million Kurds live inside Iran

• Resistance to Tehran predates the 1979 revolution

• Promises of autonomy were replaced by crackdowns and fatwas

• Any post-regime future must address self-determination

Bawecani also points to what he calls Western double standards — loud activism for some causes, silence for others.

Israel’s decision to resume land registry in Judea and Samaria–seen as a move toward full sovereignty–will benefit both Jews and Arabs, argued Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

“We have been controlling Judea and Samaria for over 50 years, but the land registration process was halted.

“When land is not formally registered, it is not recorded anywhere; there are many mistakes, arguments and disputes.

“The current chaos, is bad for everyone—Jews and Arabs alike. It harms rights. All we want to do is create order.”
