When the BBC dropped the word “Jewish” from Holocaust Memorial Day, it wasn’t a mistake. It was a mirror.

What’s behind the British broadcaster’s refusal to say what was done—and to whom? This isn’t a one-off error. It’s a culture. One shaped by decades of quiet disdain, institutionalized double standards, and narrative erasure.

From Jerusalem hotel bars to Gaza headlines, a former BBC insider connects the dots.

Israel has ordered Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, to leave the Gaza Strip by the end of the month after the NGO failed to hand over a list of its local and international staff for security purposes.

Israel suspended 37 NGOs in December after they failed to meet stricter requirements announced last March to supervise international organizations operating in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip.

MSF had initially agreed to comply with the guidelines, but then failed to do so.

Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli:

“Unfortunately, [Médecins Sans Frontières] is once again showing a lack of transparency … The organization changed its position abruptly, after publicly pledging to act in accordance with the regulations.”

The new stricter guidelines are the direct result of evidence showing UNRWA and other international aid organizations collaborated with Hamas in the run-up to and even during the Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist massacres.

Britannica Kids erases Israel, says UK legal group

UK Lawyers for Israel has accused Encyclopaedia Britannica of whitewashing Israel from its children’s website. A legal letter cites maps labeling all land from the river to the sea as “Palestine,” with no mention of historical or modern Israel.

The group says Britannica’s maps and articles present a version of history where Israel doesn’t exist—and even apply the name “Palestine” to eras when the term had no historical basis.

🌿 Tu Bishvat is not only a festival of trees

It is a day that invites us to pause, reflect,
and remember that life itself is like a tree,
rooted in the earth, nourished by hidden roots,
and slowly ripening into fruit and blessing.

When we taste produce born of this land,
we are not only tasting, we are touching.

Within these flavors lies a story of the land:
of simple ingredients,
and of time allowed to do its work without shortcuts.

Tu Bishvat reminds us that blessing comes through quiet growth:
in a small seed,
in a tree that takes root,
and in fruit that ripens in its own time.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid after his meeting today with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

"The entire State of Israel is united against Iran.

"There are no disagreements between us about the importance of dealing with this threat.

"It is important that Tehran knows that the State of Israel stands united against the regime's terror."

Lapid is a bitter political opponent of Netanyahu. This current show of unity could very well signal that something big is about to happen.

Palestinians try to pull a fast one

The official logo of the new National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) was revealed yesterday, and it took Israel by surprise.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the original draft of the logo was entirely different.

Israel is opposed to the Palestinian Authority playing a role in the short-term governance of Gaza, so it seems a logo that suggested no PA involvement was originally presented, only to be swapped out at the last minute…with a logo that includes the official Palestinian Authority seal.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated on Monday:

“Israel will not accept the use of a Palestinian Authority symbol; the Palestinian Authority will have no part in the administration of Gaza.”
