Khamenei warns Trump using biblical imagery

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issued a pointed warning to Donald Trump—invoking religious symbolism that resonates in the Islamic world but is often missed in the West.

On X, Khamenei wrote:

“Tyrants and despots like Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Khan, Mohammad Reza… were always overthrown at the height of their arrogance. This one (Trump) will also be overthrown.”

Why it matters:
Khamenei’s warning isn’t just political—it’s theological. By invoking Nimrod (linked to the Tower of Babel) alongside Pharaoh and the Shahs, Trump is cast as a tyrant defying God.

The West misses this:
Western leaders often fail to grasp such rhetoric. But in the Middle East, this is high-impact messaging, grounded in shared religious history.

Bottom line:
Khamenei casts Trump as a doomed biblical tyrant—a warning heard loud and clear in the region, but mostly lost on the West.

The assessment in Israel is that Trump will attack Iran, and soon. And it will not be a symbolic strike, but a strong, determined attack aimed at shaking the regime to the point of collapse so the Iranian people can finish the job of bringing down the ayatollahs.

Hesitation at this point could spell disaster. Without external intervention, the current uprising could end in a massacre by regime forces and further entrench the Islamists, while at the same time eroding the trust of the Iranian people in America and Israel.
