What is Khaybar?

The Battle of Khaybar (Arabic: خيبر) was a military campaign led by the Prophet Mohammed in 628 AD against the Jewish tribes in the Khaybar oasis in present-day northwest Saudi Arabia. The events are considered one of the pivotal episodes in the early relationship between Islam and the Jews of Arabia.

It's also apparently the last time the Muslims actually defeated a Jewish armed force, and so they still chant about it to this day... 🙄
