Trump on tomorrow’s ultimatum: β€œIf it was up to me, I’d take a very hard stance. I can’t tell you what Israel is going to do.”

Israel has a green light from the White House to unleash hell on Hamas, but seems unwilling to take advantage of it.

Hamas will release three hostages tomorrow, and it seems that will be enough to continue with this deeply-flawed ceasefire.

Hamas terrorists involved in this morning's hostage release carrying guns taken from fallen Israeli soldiers on October 7, 2023.

It's not for nothing that they cover their entire face and wear dark glasses. Revealing any details of their face would enable Israeli intelligence to identify and take them out.

Waiting on the Red Cross to arrive for the weekly theater performance. Today we are back in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. The hostages are being released at the ruins of the home of slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

The cynicism of Hamas knows no bounds‼️

A Hamas source told Al-Jazeera: "The hostages will be taken to the release point in Khan Yunis in a vehicle that Hamas looted from Israel on October 7."

And yet another tasteless β€œgesture” by Hamas – Sagui Dekel Chen received a β€œgift” from Hamas terrorists for the birth of his daughter, who was born about a year ago while he was in captivity.

It is deeply frustrating to Israelis that international bodies say and do nothing about this horrible behavior. And yet, were Israel to do similar things when releasing jailed Palestinian terrorists, the international backlash would be severe.

Why the double standard?

Appearing in stolen IDF uniforms and carrying Israeli weapons, Hamas terrorists tell Arab media that they are "super soldiers" and that Israel should fear them.

But, as a reminder, during the long months of combat, Hamas terrorists (seen surrendering on the left) fought in sweat pants and flip-flops, hiding among the civilian population, or cowering in tunnels underground.

Yair Horn is made to hold a small hourglass and photos of fellow hostage Matan Zangauker and his mother, Einav, who has been the most vocal among the hostages' families, insisting repeatedly that "time is running out."

Psychological warfare.

But the threat is also more hollow today than it was when Joe Biden was president of the United States.

If Hamas harms the remaining hostages, Donald Trump has indicated he has no problem supporting Israel in renewing the war and bringing Hamas to its knees.
