When Sultan Mehmet (Muhammad) al-Fatih conquered Constantinople, and entered Hagia Sophia, he saw the author of Durar al-Hukkam, Molla Husrev (Mulla Khusrow) being honoured by the people, and commented, “Behold, this is the Abū Ḥanīfah of his time!”
