نشریه مهندسی پزشکی زیستی (IJBME) یک فصل‌نامه فارسی (با عنوان و چکیده انگلیسی) است که هر سه ماه یک‌بار توسط انجمن مهندسی پزشکی ایران منتشر می‌شود
این نشریه طبق مجوز وزارت علوم دارای درجه علمی-پژوهشی است
زمینه تخصصی مقالات، کلیه مباحث مرتبط با مهندسی پزشکی زیستی است (بیوالکتریک، بیومکانیک، بیومتریال و...)
در این نشریه فرایند دریافت، داوری و پذیرش مقالات به صورت آنلاین در وب‌سایت نشریه انجام می‌شود
فرایند داوری در این نشریه به صورت داوری باز (یک‌سوکور) است
در فرایند بررسی مقالات به منظور جلوگیری از تقلب علمی از یک سامانه معتبر مشابهت‌یابی بهره گرفته می‌شود
