英國港僑協會 榮幸獲國王邀請於 #白金漢宮 參與 #慶祝加冕 的 #花園派對，能藉著該活動向 #國王伉儷 呈現 #香港 #流亡 #民主運動藝術家 淋漓淋浪 Lumli Lumlong 〈#獅子精神〉有關 #民主抗爭 的畫作，除了向其展示香港民眾對 #人權、#民主、#自由 的意志和願望，也驗證 #英式王室制度 與 #當代普世價值 能否相稱，本會和許多人都期望新國王更 #貼近民意，才能 #作其表率。在此特別感謝摯友 #淋漓淋浪 日夜辛勞地完成畫作，他們會介紹該作品的創作意念。
Hongkongers in Britain (HKB) is grateful for the invitation from The Royal Family to the Garden Parties to celebrate the coronation at Buckingham Palace. We're honoured to join with exiled activists and community organisers to present the painting "Lion Spirit" (Oil on canvas) with pro-democracy message from exiled pair of artists/ painters - Lumli Lumlong - to the King Charles III.
Monarchy is expected by many people to be a symbol of virtue and value of humanity above politics, living up to the universal value of human rights would be very crucial to the monarchy to fit into modern era, that is believed for the new King to address such question of people in a sovereignty and democracy His Majesty is historically entitled to represent.
