多年以來，悼念六四屠殺的「國殤之柱」成了港大自治精神的地標之一，半年前被港大校方以「國安法」等理由半夜拆卸及移除，令人唏噓不已。有幸各方奔走之下，適逄六四事件三十三週年，香港反送中民主抗爭三週年，「國殤之柱」將重新樹立於歐洲民主抗爭前線的捷克首都，與「布拉格之春」及「天鵝絨革命」的歷史相呼應，與香港和世界同享人道精神和理念。

英國港僑協會 為感謝 布拉格港人文藝組織 我地 NGO DEI 就本次活動的悉心安排，創辦人鄭文傑 (Simon Cheng ) 將與丹麥藝術家高志活 Jens Galschiot (official) 及香港民主運動家出席「國殤之柱」的揭幕典禮及致辭，期盼半年前訪問捷克的民主之旅，能由當地的港人組織繼續傳承和發展，加強在歐港人的聯繋。

從靜態的圖騰成了行為的藝術；
當它佇立時，既無聲，又隱晦；
當它破碎時，最直接、又具體。
無論何種形態，
都強烈地表達著強權猙獰下的扭曲模樣，
畢竟得著真理的過程是困軛和痛苦的，
這雕塑上痛苦受壓的眾生相，
成了思索、批判、反抗和革新的大學精神，
成了社會運動的搖籃。

「國殤之柱」在它的最後一刻，
學生擦亮了它最閃爍的餘暉，
港大挖空了自己的心臟、靈魂、尊嚴、價值和思想，
而當校方屈從權勢、流放學生時，
港大淪為社會建制的爭名逐利場。
沒有什麼比這雕塑的崩解，更能表達對不義的控訴，
「國殤之柱」原址的缺席，成了永恆的經典，
無形勝於有形，無聲勝於有聲。』

曾經擔任香港區議員及立法會議員多年嘅李永達，喺香港英中主權移交前後擔任唔少重要角色，係香港民主派嘅創黨元老之一，縱橫香港政壇數十載。
