多年以來，悼念六四屠殺的「國殤之柱」成了港大自治精神的地標之一，半年前被港大校方以「國安法」等理由半夜拆卸及移除，令人唏噓不已。有幸各方奔走之下，適逄六四事件三十三週年，香港反送中民主抗爭三週年，「國殤之柱」將重新樹立於歐洲民主抗爭前線的捷克首都，與「布拉格之春」及「天鵝絨革命」的歷史相呼應，與香港和世界同享人道精神和理念。

感謝本會仝人和義工的辛勤付出和努力，上半年的先行計劃即將步入衝刺階段，並將於七月結算後向政府及公眾發佈工作成效的總結報告。
下半年伊始，本會將汲取經驗，調整團隊陣容及佈局後，繼續完善及拓展本計劃。
香港民主抗爭運動的血淚和汗水絕不會白流，港人自由的新生由我們一體承擔去開創。
【Hongkongers in Britain x Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities: Mission PERM's Bi-monthly (Apr – May 2022) Work Progress Summary 】
Thanks to our colleagues and volunteers for their hard work and selfless effort, the 6-month pilot scheme is nearly concluded with high value of money and output, the final work report of this pilot scheme will be published to the UK government and public in Jul 2022.
Starting the second half of the year, HKB will continue to improve and expand this plan after learning from experience and adjusting the line-up and layout.
The blood, tears and sweat shed for the #hongkong pro-democracy cause will never be in vain. We will create and develop new and free lives of #hongkongers in solidarity.

We had sincere exchanges of our opinion with UNHRC members in the UN Palais Wilson at Geneva, and can feel the committee members' genuine compassion and concerns for Hongkongers who have had their human rights violated. We Hongkongers will also do our part to continue to defend and protect human rights of other fellow Hongkongers.
During the meeting, Geneva's Fountain Jet d'Eau welcomed us with a rainbow, a good omen and good wish.

Psychological wellbeing social event: Manchester Pride Event 2022
移居英國後，大家會否感到孤獨，難以在當地建立社交圈子？在新的環境，受種種生活壓力和文化、語言差異限制，我們不易找到「啱嘴形」的朋友。加上本身經已要花上大量精力融入本地生活，我們往往會對不熟悉的社交場合卻步。有見及此，英國港僑協會心理健康小組將在8月28日來到曼徹斯特舉辦以心理健康為主題的聯誼活動。
當日正值一年一度彩虹驕傲遊行 (Pride March)的翌日，因此活動會包含對性別議題的展覽、以及提供有關性教育、和面對社會隔離的資訊。活動亦會免費提供含酒精及不含酒精的飲品，歡迎各位在互相交流時享用。

移居英國後，大家會否感到孤獨，難以在當地建立社交圈子？在新的環境，受種種生活壓力和文化、語言差異限制，我們不易找到「啱嘴形」的朋友。加上本身經已要花上大量精力融入本地生活，我們往往會對不熟悉的社交場合卻步。有見及此，英國港僑協會心理健康小組將在8月28日來到曼徹斯特舉辦以心理健康為主題的聯誼活動。
當日正值一年一度彩虹驕傲遊行 (Pride March)的翌日，因此活動會包含對性別議題的展覽、以及提供有關性教育、和面對社會隔離的資訊。活動亦會免費提供含酒精及不含酒精的飲品，歡迎各位在互相交流時享用。
本小組希望藉是次活動讓各位對上述議題有更多認識外，亦能找到「啱嘴形」的朋友，拓寬在英國的社交圈子。到時見！

Trafford Tea Gathering

The Trafford Tea Gathering brought together friends of different ages and walks of life in the community. It was wonderful seeing attendees got to know one another, shared stories and laughter, and that the tea gathering strengthened the connections and cohesion of our community. We want to thank all volunteers and participants without whom this event would not have been possible. We look forward to working with different organisations to organise more events in Trafford in the future and building our home together.
