House listing starts from 1st April 2026. The 2027 Census is approaching. When census officials ask about languages you know (other than your mother tongue), please mention “Sanskrit”.
You may not speak it fluently, but we all use it daily — in prayers, mantras, rituals, bhajans, and shlokas. Many of us also studied it in school.
In the last census, only around 25,000 people mentioned Sanskrit. When more people declare Sanskrit, the Central and State Governments will make more policies, schemes, and funding to promote it in schools, colleges, and universities, and help preserve our ancient heritage.
Sanskrit is the world’s oldest language and our proud cultural foundation.
Mentioning it takes just a second. Please do it and forward this message to your family and friends.

अहोबिलम को वह स्थान माना जाता है जहाँ भगवान नरसिंह ने भक्त प्रह्लाद की रक्षा के लिए हिरण्यकशिपु का वध किया था। यह क्षेत्र नल्लामाला पहाड़ियों के बीच स्थित है और यहाँ भगवान नरसिंह के 9 विभिन्न स्वरूपों (Nava Narasimha) की पूजा की जाती है। यह स्थान वैष्णव परंपरा में अत्यंत पवित्र माना जाता है।
