What is Support and Resistance — explained simply
Every crypto trader talks about it. Most beginners do not actually understand it.
Here is the simplest explanation 👇
Imagine Bitcoin keeps going up and up then suddenly stops at $70,000 and drops back down. Then it goes up again stops at $70,000 again. And drops again.
That $70,000 level is called Resistance.
The price keeps hitting it and bouncing back. Like a ceiling.
Now imagine Bitcoin keeps dropping then suddenly stops at $60,000 every time and bounces back up.
That $60,000 level is called Support.
Like a floor the price keeps bouncing off.
Why traders use these levels:
→ Near support = potential buying opportunity
→ Near resistance = potential selling or taking profit opportunity
→ When price BREAKS through resistance = that level often becomes new support
→ When price BREAKS below support = often becomes new resistance
Simple rule:
Buy near support. Take profit near resistance. Set your stop loss just below support.
This one concept alone if you master it will save you from countless bad trades.

What is Support and Resistance — explained simply

That $70,000 level is called Resistance.

That $60,000 level is called Support.
Like a floor the price keeps bouncing off.
Why traders use these levels:
→ Near support = potential buying opportunity
→ Near resistance = potential selling or taking profit opportunity
→ When price BREAKS through resistance = that level often becomes new support
→ When price BREAKS below support = often becomes new resistance
Simple rule:
Buy near support. Take profit near resistance. Set your stop loss just below support.
This one concept alone if you master it will save you from countless bad trades.
