Tried to replace Hashable with an adhoc specialized mm3-like mixer. Almost no speed gained, but Sponza now renders more... correctly? 😯

Linear Space Program
"Underwater" Claude Sonnet 3.5.1, free-form scene description It's actually pretty capable. The first images were simple, but had a point. Having seen the result it proposed a few tweaks. And after getting the sources for example scenes and elementary functions…
"Nocturne"
Claude Opus 4.6, full autonomy in subject, design and iterating on solution. No feedback or manual tweaking whatsoever.

Unlike the previous installment, where I had to shuttle code and images, this one is made 1-shot with "Make what you like, iterate, I will not interfere".
Since the piece was done unattended, I have no intermediate steps captured (maybe next time). But it was nice to see Claude adjusting the camera and refining the scene.
In the end, it couldn't break away that much from priors, and the implementation falls short from what I've glimpsed from the planning. BUT. The result is carrying its intent, and the shiny balls add the much needed detail and anchoring. I can't read the glowing rods, though.
It had fun and in the end was satisfied, so I won't judge. After all, it's a thing Claude made for itself.

video: compute-draw-compute shaders, synced to the audio stream timing.
sound: pl_synth again, but before patching in the new goodies, so a bit too simple.
