🇰🇵🇨🇳 Wang Yi Visits Pyongyang, Bilateral Ties Pledged
China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks in Pyongyang with North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui on Thursday during a two-day visit to the country — his first in more than six years. Choe told Wang that bilateral ties had advanced to a higher level following a summit between Kim Jong-un and Xi Jinping in Beijing last year.
The two ministers agreed to increase exchanges and cooperation to mark the 65th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance, and to strengthen coordination between their foreign policy bodies. Wang stated that China's intention to safeguard and develop the bilateral relationship would remain firm regardless of changes in the international situation.
At a banquet later on Thursday, Wang referred to what he described as a plot of isolation and pressure by the United States and other Western forces, noting North Korea had made new achievements in that context. China's Xinhua News Agency separately reported that Wang paid tribute to graves of Chinese soldiers in Pyongyang who died during the 1950–53 Korean War.

Pyongyang Times:Rural communities forge ahead with agricultural mechanization
The sustainable growth of agricultural production today, the age of scientific farming, largely hinges on modern machines and equipment together with advanced science and technology.
The mechanization of agriculture was powerfully pushed forward according to the programme of the Workers’ Party of Korea for the rural revolution in the new era.

A series of projects were undertaken to boost the farm machine industry in the country.
Amid the nationwide efforts to develop and produce practical and high-performance farm machines that suit the geographical and actual conditions of the country, many farm machine production units were modernized and their capacities expanded and the annual targets according to the farm machine development plan were successfully achieved. (…) As a result, 11 600 farm machines were produced and supplied to the rural communities throughout the country in 2023, increasing in 2024-2025.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov met with the Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Russia Sin Hong Chol
On April 14, a meeting took place in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation between the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation, Comrade Sin Hong Chol. The conversation was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Novikov, Nikolay Kolomeitsev, Konstantin Taisayev, and Alexei Yushchenko.
Gennady Zyuganov noted the importance of the successful holding of the IX Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the unanimous election of Comrade Kim Jong Un as the General Secretary of the WPK. In turn, Sin Hong Chol provided information about the work of the congress in Pyongyang, in which he participated. The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was presented with an official information letter from the Central Committee of the WPK on the results of the congress.
During the conversation, plans for inter-party cooperation were discussed. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the WPK intend to prepare and sign an updated bilateral cooperation agreement. It is planned to organize the presentation of the Lenin Prize of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to Comrade Kim Jong Un. There will also be an exchange of party delegations, a Russian language competition for Korean youth, and a number of other events.
April 26 will mark the first anniversary of the liberation of the Kursk region from the invasion of Bandera-led armed formations. In connection with this significant date, Gennady Zyuganov thanked the fraternal Korean people for the enormous assistance provided to Russia by the DPRK in defending against the aggression of neo-fascist units.
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation shared the plans of Russian communists for the near future. An invitation to send a delegation from the DPRK to participate in the III International Anti-Fascist Forum, which will take place in late May in Moscow, was confirmed.
At the end of the meeting, Gennady Zyuganov congratulated Comrade Sin Hong Chol on the 114th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader of the Korean people, Comrade Kim Il Sung, and expressed his full readiness to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two parties.

To commemorate the life and legacy of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin is to reaffirm Marxism-Leninism as a vital weapon in the struggle against capitalism. Lenin was a student of Marx, but he also further developed Marxism with an understanding of imperialism, exposing the global system of exploitation and giving the proletariat the tools to create a disciplined revolutionary party and seize power from the bourgeoisie.
This 1960 poster from the Korean-Soviet Friendship Society in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea commemorates the advances the proletariat was able to make because of Lenin's work.
Within the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Lenin is not treated as simply a symbolic figure, but as part of the concrete inheritance of the international communist movement. The Korean revolution emerged out of colonial domination and imperialist partition—conditions analysed directly by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. As he wrote:

Lenin’s legacy here is not symbolic or dated. It is a method grounded in concrete analysis: opposition to imperialism and commitment to international working-class struggle.
