I’m Hamidah Abbas (the artist behind the Hall).

I'm an award-winning competitive speaker, an author, an agricultural scientist, and the founder of Hamidah Abbas Letters. I am a lifelong student and teacher. I teach what I know. I learn what I don't know. Welcome to the Hall of Light.

I champion the path of light because there is so much darkness at so many levels of our society.

For example, It is so sad that an Islamic knowledge that used to be very popular in the centuries of the past has now completely disappeared and it's almost unknown throughout the Islamic world today.

I'm talking about the Ijma'a i.e legal agreement (consensus) of the companions such as Umar bn Khattab, Amr bn Al-As, Muawiya (R.A.A)

In Al-Mughni Volume 9, Page 483, you'll find the Ijma‘a — the undisputed legal consensus of the Companions — confirming that a woman has the right to choose not to be in a polygamous marriage.
