*Have a Full year average of 65 % or better in Science and Mathematics, evidenced by the student’s report card. If the student’s grades in Science or Math are below 65%, then, he or she must provide evidence that he or she belongs to the upper 10% rank.

*Have a Full year average of 65 % or better in Geography, History and English , evidenced by the student’s report card. If the student’s grades in social Science field and English are below 65%, then, he or she must provide evidence that he or she belongs to the upper 10% rank
*Have at least a good rating (or its equivalent to an A ) in his/her Character Rating in his/her report card or Possesses good moral character which might be proven by his homeroom's teacher or school adminstratiom recomendation letter.

1. by determining the applicant's report card result's and ranking stage which is based on average result and Science and Mathematics result that he or she scored in the acadami year
2.based the entrance exam he or she scores. If he or she scores more than 65% in the entrance exam he or she will pass and join AHS.
For Social science
1. social science field and English results he or she scored in the acadamic year.
2.based the entrance exam he or she scores. .If he or she scores more than 65% in the entrance exam, he or she will pass and join AHS.

በ2015 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተናን ከወሰዱ 845 ሺህ ገደማ ተማሪዎች መካከል፤ ወደ ዩኒቨርስቲ የማለፊያ ነጥብ ያመጡት ተፈታኞች ብዛት 27,267 ተማሪዎች አሊያም 3.2 በመቶዎቹ ብቻ መሆናቸውን ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር አስታወቀ። (ኢትዮጵያ ኢንሳይደር )።

በተቀሩት ቀናት ሁሉንም ትምህርቶች ያሉትን ምዕራፎችን መጨረስ እና የተለያዩ ሞዴል ፈተናዎችን መስራት ጀምረናል እንዳያመልጣችሁ።
የ2016 የትምህርት ዘመን የኢትዮጵያ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ማጠናቀቂያ (12ኛ ክፍል)ፈተና የሚሰጥበት ቀን ይፋ ሆነ።
የ12ኛ ክፍል ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተና ሐምሌ 3-5 ለማህበራዊ ሳይንስ ሐምሌ 9-11/2016 ዓ/ም ለተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ ተፈታኞች በበይነ መረብ (Online) እና በዩኒቨርሲቲ ውስጥ በወረቀት ይሰጣል።
በወረቀት ላይ የሚፈተኑ የማህበራዊ ሳይንስ ተፈታኞች ሰኔ 30-ሐምሌ 01/2016 ዓ/ም እንዲሁም የተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ ሐምሌ 6-7/2016 ዓ/ም ወደ ዩኒቨርስቲ የሚገቡ ይሆናል።
ስለሆነም ተፈታኞች እና የሚመለከታቸው ሁሉ ተገቢውን ዝግጅት እንዲያደርጉ ተብሏል።

በወረቀት ላይ የሚፈተኑ የማህበራዊ ሳይንስ ተፈታኞች ሰኔ 30-ሐምሌ 01/2016 ዓ/ም እንዲሁም የተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ ሐምሌ 6-7/2016 ዓ/ም ወደ ዩኒቨርስቲ የሚገቡ ይሆናል።
ስለሆነም ተፈታኞች እና የሚመለከታቸው ሁሉ ተገቢውን ዝግጅት እንዲያደርጉ ተብሏል።

4..የእንግሊዘኛ ቋንቋን ማሻሻል ለሚሹ ተማሪዎች በልዩ ሁኔታ ለማስተማር ዝግጅታችንን አጠናቀን እናንተን በመጠባበቅ ላይ ነን ።
5.የ6ኛ እና የ8ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች በቅዳሜ እና እሁድ ማጥናት ለሚፈልጉም የተመቻቸ ሁኔታ ፈጥረናል።
