Actually, we could have left after defeating Aquila, since it was the one preventing us from leaving Amphoreus. However, since Phainon put it that way, the Trailblazers naturally won’t go along with his plan. Instead, they will "Era Nova" together.

After the Trailblazer returns, Phainon—upon regaining his memories—will unveil the full truth to us. We will then uncover Amphoreus' "Second Truth" (distinct from the "Surface truth" known to Anaxa). Through the impassioned affirmations of Phainon and Cyrene, the protagonist's pivotal role in Amphoreus' destiny is revealed. In the end, the protagonist inherits the title of "Savior" and is sent back by Cyrene to the primordial origin—the very cradle where all things began.

At the Vortex of Genesis, during the ongoing Era Nova, Phainon regains fragments of his memory and begins speaking with Lygus.

Just then, Cyrene appears from behind.

Phainon: Is that you… Cyrene?

Cyrene: But of course. This must be a romance unlike any we’ve known before—don’t you think so, too? ♪
