一隻惡靈，極權主義的惡靈，在世界游蕩。
它監視、它操縱；它威脅、它滲透；它打壓與欺凌，為謀求治權與宰制，不惜消滅文明、屠殺生靈；它列印看似動人心魄的歌詞，表面唱頌著「不願做奴隸的人們」，但其泯滅人性的黑手，實際上卻苦苦壓迫追尋自由、民主與良知的人民，使之淪為奴隸、囚犯與亡魂；自號「戰狼」，卻又胡亂嚎叫、使貽笑大方，形同於狼狽的滑稽模仿；虛妄自卑，恍若一塊玻璃，但非出於其擁有一顆透明的心，乃因在理智與證據面前，實則極度易碎、不堪一擊，屬於天生容易「受辱」的體質，竟又亦厚顏無恥。
如今，這隻惡靈，極權主義的惡靈，更藉由所謂「數位絲綢之路」、「一帶一路」等名義及力量，漸進實現大範圍的數位科技監控、不實資訊與紅色資本的銳實力入侵，以「強國」之姿，瞄準個體公民與國際社會的弱點，企圖擴張其於政治、經濟與文化上的控制與勢力，舉凡香港、西藏、新疆、緬甸、泰國、馬來西亞，以及台灣等國，皆陷入其中、深受其害；惡靈遊蕩，正在入侵世界。
為此，我們必須與受壓迫者站在一起，共同捍衛我等珍而重之的普世價值。十月一日，正是它——其名為中國，建立七十週年的日子。當天晚上，香港邊城青年，將聯同其他在臺港人組織、臺灣組織，以及被中國迫害的各地在臺團體發起集會，以實體行動抗議中國極權擴張、對惡靈除魅、為其誕辰「贈慶」。

Come join us in Washington Square Park on October 1st Friday at 6pm, where we will host an interactive event by the fountain. Let’s share, empathize, and come together and discuss what a future without the CCP would look like.
We are HKSAG-NYU, founded by NYU students to advocate for democracy and human rights in Hong Kong. We aim to connect with Hongkongers across the city and welcome the support of any students, staff, faculty, and community members. We stand with those whose freedoms have been suppressed in Hong Kong, Tibet, East Turkestan; and anywhere else the CCP's imperialist regime extends.
Please wear masks and black clothing.

Have you seen this billboard?
It has just popped up all over Australian cities - Leichhardt, Rozelle and Silverwater in #Sydney and Carlton in #Melbourne to name a few locations - and bears the stamp of Chinese Communist Party propaganda, broadcast blatantly on our streets. What it seeks to do is to normalise and glorify China's so called 'New Era' of repression in Hong Kong, following the brutal crackdown of democracy activists and civil society.
For Hong Kongers, especially those seeking refuge in Australia, it is a cruel reminder of the rights and freedoms that they have lost in their home city. It is also offensive to all democracy loving Australians.
Similar signage in Brussels was taken down 24 hours after citizens registered their outrage and we can do the same - these billboards must come down!
