Paying for queries on The Graph Network is now as easy as swiping a credit card! 💳

You asked for an easier way to use The Graph & The Graph’s core developers listened.

Now you can pay your query fee balance via debit or credit card, thanks to the new Banxa fiat onramp 💱

The default option for billing on the decentralized network involves getting GRT & moving it to your Arbitrum billing balance.

With the new Banxa widget, replenishing your billing balance for query fees is seamless.

Simply pay by card—your GRT loads in automatically 🪄

By leveraging a fiat onramp, The Graph empowers a broader pool of developers to build on decentralized data infrastructure 🌐

That means more users can take advantage of the benefits of The Graph’s decentralized network while reducing billing steps 💪

How to get started 🔽

Next time you’re adding GRT to your billing balance in Subgraph Studio, click “Pay with Card”💡

Enter your card details via the Banxa widget & hit submit.

That’s it!

Save time & pay for your queries more conveniently than ever ⚡️

Hello devs! Announcing that you can now build subgraphs for Polygon’s newly-launched zkEVM mainnet beta 🔥

Starting today, you can use Subgraph Studio to create subgraphs to index Polygon zkEVM data. Polygon zkEVM operates on top of Ethereum Mainnet to improve the scalability & transactions per second of Ethereum ⏱️

Building a subgraph on Polygon zkEVM is the same as on any other EVM-compatible chain. Make sure to have the latest @graphprotocol/graph-cli version installed: 0.44.0 and simply select polygon-zkevm while initializing your subgraph. In the subgraph manifest (subgraph.yaml) Polygon zkEVM subgraphs are defined with: network: polygon-zkevm

Note: support for Polygon zkEVM subgraphs is currently in beta.

Happy Building!

Gm everyone! The Graph is continuing to scale with L2 🌱

Announcing that Phase 2 of scaling with Arbitrum One is complete!

5% of all indexing rewards are now available on Arbitrum One 🥳 Indexing rewards will gradually move from Ethereum to Arbitrum as network participation increases on L2.

Indexers can now index subgraphs that are deployed on Arbitrum & earn indexing rewards for serving queries.

By operating on Arbitrum One, The Graph Network is getting faster, cheaper & more accessible for all network participants. Delegators can more easily delegate various amounts of GRT, Curators can curate more subgraphs, Indexers can close Indexer allocations more flexibly and much more! Operating the protocol on L2 makes gas significantly less prohibitive, which opens up more frequent network participation.

Learn more about indexing rewards on Arbitrum in The Graph Docs: https://thegraph.com/docs/en/arbitrum-faq/

Please note that The Graph’s hosted service will undergo scheduled database maintenance Monday, beginning on May 22, 2023, 05:00 UTC (convert to your local time here: https://dateful.com/convert/utc?t=05&d=2023-05-22)

All subgraphs on The Graph’s hosted service will not be queryable for up to 30-60 minutes. The 30-60 minute downtime will begin within a five-hour time window (05:00-10:00 UTC). This also applies to the developer preview URL of subgraphs created in Subgraph Studio.

The Graph Network does not undergo scheduled maintenance, thanks to 450+ globally distributed independent Indexers. Learn how to migrate your subgraph to the decentralized network and avoid downtime caused by routine maintenance. You can also reach out to migration@thegraph.foundation for assistance getting started with The Graph Network.
