Today, Unichain joins web3 as a brand new L2 shaping the evolution of DeFi in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Unichain is an OP Stack chain designed to be a faster, more cost-effective home for DeFi applications that functions as the home for liquidity across chains in web3 – with data made easily accessible thanks to a ready-on-day-one integration with The Graph.

As of today, all developers experimenting on Unichain can organize and access onchain data easily using subgraphs on The Graph. That means anyone can build a subgraph indexing Unichain testnet data and deploy it using Subgraph Studio.

The Graph’s support of Unichain testnet also lays the foundation for full support across Subgraph Studio and The Graph Network when Unichain mainnet goes live. Developers can familiarize themselves by building Unichain subgraphs on testnet now to prepare for the launch of Unichain mainnet, so they can continue using subgraphs to query mission-critical dapp data in a decentralized way using The Graph Network.
