Q: After calling the twelve disciples together, what did Jesus give them power and authority over?
A: All devils and to cure diseases.

Q: Jesus sent them out to do what?
A: Preach the kingdom of God, and heal the sick.

Q: What did Jesus tell them to take on their journey?
A: Nothing.

Q: If they enter a house, what are they to do?
A: Abide there and thence depart.

Q: What are they to do about those who will not receive them?
A: When the disciples leave that city, they were to shake off the very dust from their feet for a testimony against them.

Q: Who heard about Jesus and all He had done and was perplexed?
A: Herod, the tetrarch.

Q: Why was he perplexed and desired to see Jesus?
A: Because some were saying that it was John risen from the dead, and some were saying that Elias had appeared, and others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

Q: What did Herod admit to doing to John?
A: Beheading him.

Q: When the apostles returned and told Jesu everything they had done, where did Jesus take them aside privately?
A: Into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

Q: When they followed Him what did Jesus do?
A: He received them, spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.

Q: at the end of the day, why did the twelve want Jesus to send the multitude away?
A: To get victuals because they were in a desert place.

Q: What was the response that Jesus gave them?
A: Give ye them to eat.

Q: How many loaves and fishes did the disciples say they had?
A: Five loaves and two fishes.

Q: About how many men were there?
A: Five thousand.

Q: What did Jesus have the disciples do with the people?
A: To sit them down in fifties.

A: Jesus looked up to heaven, blessed, and broke them, then gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Q: When Jesus was alone praying with His disciples, He asked them who the people said that He was. What was their response?
A John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

Q: Who answered when Jesus asked the disciples who they thought He was?
A: Peter.

A: The Christ of God.

Q: When they came down the hill the next day, who met them?
A: Many people.

Q: Who did a man among the company cry out to Jesus for help with?
A: His only son.

Q: What was wrong with him?
A: A spirit that had taken him and was physically attacking him.

Q: Who did the man say that he went to for help but they could not help him?
A: The disciples.

Q: How did Jesus respond to this?
A: O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.

Q: As a result of this, what did the devil do?
A: he threw him down and tore him.

Q: What did Jesus do?
A: Rebuked the spirit, healed the child, and delivered him to his father.

Q: While they were all amazed at the mighty power of God, what did Jesus say to His disciples that they did not understand?
