โ€œAnd we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.โ€

"If you look at the world, you will be distressed. If you look inside, you will be depressed. but if you look to Christ, you will rest. Therefore, we must seek God in the deepest areas of our lives."

โ€œWhat shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.โ€

Matthew 15 - Questions

Q: Who came to Jesus, who were of Jerusalem?

Q: How was it that they accused the disciples of transgressing against the elders?

Q: How did Jesus tell them that they transgressed the commandment of God?

Q: God said to honor your father and mother, and anyone who curses them shall be put to death. However, the scribes and Pharisees teach that whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, What you would have gained from me is given to God. So, he does not need to honour his father or his mother, he shall be free.
What does this do to the word of God for the sake of tradition?

Q: Who prophesied of these people who honor the Lord God with their lips but their hearts are far from Him, worshiping Him in vain, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men?

Q: Who called the multitude?

Q: What did Jesus say that defileth a man?

Q: When hearing that the Pharisees were offended after hearing Jesus say these things, what was Jesus's response?

Q: After Jesus spoke these words, what did Peter say unto Jesus?

Q: As a result, did Jesus question Peter's understanding of what Jesus was saying? Yes or No.

Q: Do not ye yet _________, that whatsoever entereth in at the _________ goeth into the belly, and is cast _________ into the draught?

Q: But those things which _________ out of the _________ come forth from the _________; and they _________ the man.

Q: For out of the heart proceed, what?

Q: Concerning man, what is the result of those things mentioned above?

Q: Do unwashed hands defile a man? Yes or No.

Q: What did the woman of Canaan tell Jesus that her daughter was grievously vexed with?

Q: Did Jesus immediately respond to her? Yes or No.

Q: What did His disciples want Jesus to do concerning her?

Q: Did the woman have faith that Jesus could heal her daughter? Yes or No.

Q: What was Jesus's response to her when He realized where her faith was?

Q: What happened to her daughter?

Q: After this, what sea did Jesus pass along to sit upon the mountain?

Q: While there, who came to see Jesus?

Q: Who did they bring with them?

Q: When they were cast down at Jesus' feet, what did Jesus do to them?

Q: After this, what was their response?
Matthew 15

1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:

31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
Matthew 15 (Continued)

36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

BABY TURTLES REVEAL THE CREATORโ€™S ENGINEERING

When a baby sea turtle hatches, it begins one of the most remarkable journeys in creation. In the darkness of night, the tiny hatchling digs free from the sand, crawls toward the naturally brighter horizon over the ocean, slips into the surf, and vanishes into the deep. From that moment forward, it must survive entirely on its own. No parents guide it. No older turtles swim ahead to lead the way. Yet these hatchlings will navigate thousands of miles across open ocean, crossing vast gyres and currents with a precision that defies their size and inexperience.

New research is now confirming how this is even possible. Scientists have shown that baby sea turtles rely on a tactile magnetic sense, likely driven by microscopic magnetite crystals embedded in their bodies. These crystals act like tiny receivers, letting the hatchlings feel and interpret Earthโ€™s magnetic field as if it were a map wrapped around the planet. The moment they enter the water, this internal compass activates, telling them where they are and where they must go, even when there are no landmarks, no light cues, and no familiar coastline to guide them.

This kind of system does not arise from blind chance. A creature that must instantly navigate thousands of miles cannot wait for a slow, step by step process to assemble a half working compass. It either has the full system in place on day one, or it dies. That level of foresight, precision, and planning points directly to a Creator who knew exactly what these animals would face the moment they touched the waves.

The turtlesโ€™ journey is not an accident of nature. It is a woven design, written into their very structure by the God who formed the sea and filled it with life. His wisdom is seen in every hatchling that disappears into the surf, guided not by luck, but by the hand of the One who upholds all things.

โ€œO LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.โ€  Psalm 104:24
