1 John 4 teaches God’s people to test what they hear, holding to truth that aligns with God.
It emphasizes that God’s nature is love, and those who truly know Him will live in that love. This love removes fear and is shown by loving God first and others, not just claiming to love God.

1 John 5
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

🚨 JUST NOW — President Trump delivers Passover message: "Over 3,000 years ago, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob delivered the ancient Israelites out of slavery and brought them into the promised land. It was an amazing period of time, just like today we have an amazing period of time."
"This week we recall this ancient proof of God's faithfulness and are reminded that with true faith, eternal hope, and the power of prayer, nothing can stop the people of God."
"As Jewish families and loved ones gather together for Seder dinner, we ask that God will continue to watch over the Jewish people and that he may continue to preserve and protect the United States of America for generations to come. Our country is doing better than it has ever done. I am very happy to report. Happy Passover!"

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Anticipate your Battles and Pray
The reason why many fail in battle is because they wait until the hour of battle. The reason why others succeed is because they have gained their victory on their knees long before the battle came. Anticipate your battles; fight them on your knees before temptation comes, and you will always have victory.

The Irony of the Resurrection
Luke 24:36-49
In ancient times it was unthinkable that a messiah, savior, someone who was God or was favored by God, would be crucified by mortal men. The resurrection itself was a great surprise to Jesus' followers, despite everything they saw. They were no different than you and me and struggled - how does an intelligent person believe in a walking dead man?
Frederick Buechner understood this dilemma but he was still certain of the resurrection. He says, "I can tell you this: that what I believe happened and what in faith and with great joy I proclaim to you here is that He somehow got up, with life in Him again, and the glory upon Him. And I speak very plainly here, very un-fancifully, even though I do not understand well my own language. I was not there to see it any more than I was awake to see the sun rise this morning, but I affirm it as surely as I do that by God's grace the sun did rise this morning because that is why the world is flooded with light."

Bible Prophecy Is 100% Accurate
Before a general election in Australia, almost everyone agreed that the prime minister would not be reelected. It seemed impossible. The opposition party was popular, and the government at that time was extremely unpopular.
But an information technology professor at a university in Queensland predicted the party in power would win the election, and the no-chance prime minister would be returned. And that’s exactly what happened. The professor’s thorough analysis led him to believe that the unlikely would happen, which it did.
There are many things you see in the Bible that can strike you as unlikely, or even impossible. There are people who claim there was no creation, no virgin birth, no resurrection of Jesus, and that there’ll be no return of Jesus.
God’s actions aren’t dependent on anyone’s expectations. If you look at the Bible, you’ll see that God has done the impossible again and again.
You can trust the Bible.

Do Not Trust Your heart
And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him . . .
Luke 23:33
One of the ironies of human nature is that it often has a way of rejecting the best and accepting the worst. Why did the crowd ask for the release of Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus? The answer is in the biblical statement, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.” Jesus is just as divine today and just as much alive as He was on that first Good Friday. Yet millions today don’t accept Him. His goodness is still a rebuke to our badness; His purity still shows up our impurities; His sinlessness still reveals our sinfulness; and unless we allow Him to destroy the evil within us, the evil within us still wants to destroy Him. This is the conflict of the ages.
Prayer for the day🙏
Lord Jesus, when I reflect upon the agony of Your death at Calvary, my heart is once again humbled at the magnitude of Your love for all mankind.
*SALVATION POEM*
JESUS, You died upon a cross
And rose again to save the lost
Forgive me now of all my sin
Come be my Savior, Lord, and Friend
Change my life and make it new
And help me, Lord, to live for you
Hear it and believe it

1 John 5 teaches that those who believe are born of God, and that loving Him is shown by keeping His commands, which are not burdensome. It emphasizes that faith overcomes the world, grounded in the true testimony about the Son, who gives eternal life. This closes with assurance in prayer, confidence in God’s truth, and a call to stay away from anything that replaces Him.
