1 John 1, shares the message of life as something real, seen, heard, and experienced firsthand, now proclaimed so others may share in true fellowship with the Father and with His Son. This fellowship is marked by fullness of joy and is rooted in the truth that God is pure light, with no darkness at all. Teaching that walking in that light means living in truth and openness, not claiming closeness with God while continuing in darkness. Honest acknowledgment of sin is essential; denying it is self-deception. But when sin is confessed, God is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse completely, restoring right relationship.

โThe law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.โ

โWho hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.โ
