“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”

1 Peter 4, Peter calls God’s people to turn away from sinful desires and adopt the mindset of the Messiah by living for God’s will. Though others may speak against them, they are to live with self-control, love, and hospitality, using their gifts to serve one another as stewards of God’s grace. Suffering for righteousness is not a cause for shame but a reason to glorify God, as it reflects sharing in Messiah’s sufferings. God’s people are urged to entrust themselves to God and continue doing good, knowing His judgment begins with His people.
Good morning everyone ☀️🙏

Yesterday, God blessed me with something I thought I had lost; I ran again. It wasn’t perfect. I couldn’t run a full mile, and I had to stop and catch my breath along the way… but I ran. And for the first time in years, I felt a piece of myself come back to life.

After my accident years ago, losing the ability to run felt devastating. It may seem small to others, but it was something that brought me strength, health, and joy since I was a child, even through my military years. Losing it weighed on me more than I can explain.

But here’s what I want to encourage you with:
Do not let what was lost convince you it’s gone forever.
If God has given you breath, there is still opportunity for restoration.
I didn’t get here overnight. It took prayer, discipline, and a decision not to give up on healing: spiritually, mentally, and physically. Yesterday reminded me that even small progress is still progress, and sometimes restoration comes in steps, not leaps.

And the greatest blessing?
My son and grandson were there to see it… and afterward, to witness me pouring into others. They saw not just movement in the body, but movement in purpose.

Your restoration isn’t just for you, it’s tied to your mission.

So whatever roadblock is in your life right now: pain, loss, delay, or discouragement; don’t stop striving. Keep pressing forward. Keep rebuilding. Keep trusting God.
Because what He restores… He uses.

Have a blessed and restful Sabbath day!🙏

“And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?”

Mistaken Identity

A lady arranged the cremation of a body she believed was her son. He turned up alive the next day.

Greater Manchester Police said the confusion began when the body of a man in his 30s was discovered in Manchester, northwest England, on Oct. 12. He was identified as Thomas Dennison, 39, by a care worker who knew him. Officials contacted Dennison’s mother, Gina Partington, 58, who identified the dead man as her son.

“Following normal procedures, the body was released to the family of the missing person and cremated on Oct. 30,” according to a police spokesman. The next day, Dennison was discovered alive in Nottingham, 80 miles away.

His mother said, “I held his hand and kissed his head. I stayed with him for about 40 minutes and would have sworn he was my son. We held his funeral on Tuesday this week at Southern Cemetery and there were genuine tears, because Tommy is a lovely lad.”

Family members may mistake identities, but God never does. He knows all those who have trusted Him to be their Saviour.
