"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

I ask your forgiveness for not sending the Bible studies today.

This morning I was called into an urgent meeting with parents who are walking through a difficult state intervention situation concerning their child.

As Scripture reminds us, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ”. Today was a time to stand with this family in prayer, counsel, and support.

I will send the regular studies tomorrow, Lord willing. In the meantime, please join me in prayer for this family. Ask that the Lord would intervene on their behalf, protect the children, grant wisdom to all involved, and let His mercy and justice prevail.

Have a blessed day! 🙏

Hebrews 4 - Questions

Q: What is the fear concerning?
Verse 1: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Original Greek translation: We might fear lest at any time of being dropped of vow to enter in to the rest of him he may seem some from of you lacked.

Q: For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not what?

Q: Was this mixed with faith in them that heard it? Yes or No.

Q: Do those which have believed enter in to the rest of God? Yes or No.
Verse 3: For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Original Greek translation: We enter for in to the rest the believing as he has spoken as I swore in to the liquation of me if they will enter in to the rest of me and mind you of the of works out of foundation of world order of the things becoming.

Q: For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from what?

Q: And in this place again, If they shall enter into what?

Q: Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of what?

Q: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a what?

Q: As it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your what?

Q: For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of what?

Q: Who does there remain a rest place for?

Q: For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own what, as God did from his?

Q: Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of what?

Q: For the word of God is what?

Q: Piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the what?

Q: Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are what unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do?

Q: Who is our great high priest, that is passed into the heavens?

Q: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without what?

Q: Let us therefore come boldly unto what?

Q: Why?
Hebrews 4

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Beloved God First Family,

Let us lift up our dear brother,
SharpsShooter and his family before the throne of grace as they walk through this sacred and tender hour. As his mother prepares to take her final breath, we entrust her into the faithful hands of the Lord, who is near to the brokenhearted and gentle with His children.

Scripture reminds us that those who rest in Christ do not sorrow without hope. For just as Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with Him those who sleep in Him, 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14. What appears to us as loss is, in God’s promise, a peaceful rest, awaiting the glorious day when the trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ shall rise, 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

May the God of all comfort surround this family with His peace that surpasses understanding. May His presence fill the room with assurance, His Spirit strengthen weary hearts, and His promises anchor them in hope.

We pray that everlasting arms uphold them now, and that the hope of resurrection and reunion in Christ would shine even in this valley. In the compassionate and victorious name of Jesus, Amen. 🙏✝️

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?”

Hebrews 4 urges God’s people to take seriously God’s promise of entering His rest, warning that unbelief and disobedience can cause people to miss what God has offered, just as some did in the wilderness. True rest is found through faith and obedience, centered in God’s completed work and fulfilled in Christ. It also presents God’s Word as living and penetrating, exposing the heart’s true condition, and closes by pointing to Jesus as the compassionate High Priest who understands human weakness, inviting God’s people to approach God’s throne with confidence to receive mercy and grace in times of need.
Hebrews 5 - Questions

Q: What is every high priest ordained (deployed) for?

Q: Every high priest shows compassion for those who cannot comprehend and are distracted because he is subject to what?

Q: Why must he make these offerings for the people and himself?

Q: Just as Aaron was, no one can take this honor unto himself but he that is called of who?

Q: Did Christ honor Himself to be made a high priest? Yes or No.

Q: Who said, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee?

Q: As a result who made Christ a high priest?

Q: In the days of His flesh, who did Christ offer up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to?

Q: Knowing that only God was able to save Him from what?

Q: Why was Christ heard?

Q: Although He was the Son, He learned out of experience (suffering) what?

Q: Being made perfect, He became the author of what?

Q: What was He called of God after the order of Melchisedec?

Q: Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of what?

Q: For when for the time ye ought to be what?

Q: Ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the what?

Q: And are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong what?

Q: The idea of one who has a need for milk is used to describe someone who is what?

Q: Meaning he is what?

Q: But strong meat belongeth to them that are of what?

Q: The term strong meat is also used by those who have their senses exercised to discern both what?
Hebrews 5

1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Beloved God First Family in Christ, please lift this moment in prayer. I am meeting with a young girl today to share the Gospel and call her away from the paths of this world and into the life found in Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit would speak through me the very words appointed by God, that her heart would be pierced by truth, healed by His love, and turned from self-harm to the hope of salvation.

May the Lord break every chain, draw her to repentance and faith, and open her eyes to seek first the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. Pray that she would know the peace of Christ that overcomes despair and that the Lord would rescue her from darkness into His marvelous light.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we intercede.
Amen. 🙏✝️

God First (Seeking God through Jesus)
Beloved God First Family in Christ, please lift this moment in prayer. I am meeting with a young girl today to share the Gospel and call her away from the paths of this world and into the life found in Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit would speak through…
With a heart full of both sorrow and gratitude, I want to share that this precious 11-year-old girl, who has struggled deeply and attempted to take her life several times, heard the Gospel today and by God’s great mercy, she surrendered her life to the Lord. Praise be to God, who rescues and redeems.

We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces that seek to steal, kill, and destroy. The enemy has sought to wound her at such a young age, but today she came to see the truth; that she is loved, chosen, and created with purpose. The light of Christ has begun to shine into that darkness.

The Word tells us that a bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out, Isaiah 42:3. The Lord met her in her pain. The Gospel was received, and seeds of life were planted. Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents.

Please continue to pray for her protection, for healing of her mind and heart, and that the peace of Christ would guard her thoughts. Pray that what God has begun, He will faithfully complete, and that she will grow strong in the knowledge of who she is in Christ; rescued from darkness and brought into His marvelous light.

Today was a battle, but the Lord showed Himself mighty. To Him be all glory. Amen. 🙏✝️
