Acts 14, Paul and Barnabas entered Iconium with fire in their bones. They spoke boldly, and many believed, Jews and Gentiles alike. But division followed. Some plotted violence, so the apostles fled to Lystra and Derbe, still preaching as they went.
In Lystra, a crippled man listened intently. Paul saw faith in his eyes and called him to stand. He did, walking for the first time. The crowd erupted, calling Paul and Barnabas gods. They tore their clothes, pleading, “We’re just men, pointing you to the living God!” But the people barely listened.
Soon, enemies arrived. Paul was stoned and dragged outside the city, left for dead. But he rose; bruised, alive, and undeterred. They pressed on, strengthening disciples, urging them to remain faithful. “Through many hardships,” they said, “we enter the kingdom of God.” The gospel moved forward, not because the path was easy, but because the Spirit sustained those who walked it.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

“Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.”

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Matthew 18:12-13
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ! 🕊
As some of you may or may not know, the Lord has called me to minister on the streets of St Louis these past few months, picking people up in my car and using that time to share the Gospel. This specific call isn’t for everyone, but we are all called to “go and make disciples” (Matt. 28:19).
People are lost, hurting, and in desperate need of the truth. As Romans 10:14 says, “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” The time is short, and the harvest is ready (Luke 10:2). We must not delay.
I’m not a brick- and-mortar pastor, I’m a disciple in the field. May each of us be bold to step out when God calls, trusting that He will speak through us. “The night is far gone; the day is at hand” (Rom. 13:12). Let’s be faithful with the Gospel while there is still time.
May we also trust Him to equip us in whatever way He leads. “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Rom. 10:15).
I’ll share questions for Acts 15 on Monday. Have a blessed , God filled day everyone, in the name of Jesus! 🙏 🕊

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
