🕊🙏🏽Good morning, Family! The Scriptures teach that to truly seek God, we must step beyond our comfort zones, letting go of traditions that are not rooted in His Word, and continually ask for His guidance in all things. The Greek word for “seek” in Jeremiah 29:13 (ἐκζητήσετε) carries the meaning of diligently searching with all effort until He is found. This is a call to come with open, teachable hearts, knowing that Christ (Χριστός) is our only Mediator between God and us.
Jeremiah 29:11–13 reminds us: “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me, and you will go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.”
God longs to dwell (σκηνόω – to live among) with us. Welcoming Him must be a free choice, done with all our heart through Christ Jesus, not through a pastor, priest, or any other mediator. May we seek Him fully today with sincerity and faith. 🙏🏽🕊
