Dear God, thank You for this day. Thank You for reminding me of who I really am. On the days I feel like I’m not enough, help me to see myself the way You see me. Your word in Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” That changes everything. I am not my mistakes. I am not what others have said about me. I am Yours. I am redeemed, chosen, and loved. Help me believe this today, especially when the devil tries to discourage me. I trust that You have my back, and You’re still working on me. I want to live today with confidence in who You created me to be. Thank You for everything. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good Morning, Family! As a disciple of the Most High, I encounter many false teachings and it is truly troubling. My heart literally aches over the purposeful misguidance of teachers who put monetary gain over proper teaching of the Scriptures which leads to eternal loss. As disciples, we are to put Christ before ourselves, to lose all things to win Christ. Philippians 3:8, "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," As many of you know, I look at the KJV but also go back to early Scripture for reference. We must teach the true gospel which requires endurance to get salvation, and expose the danger of false security.
Jesus never promised an easy road for those who follow Him. Instead, He made it clear that trials, persecution, and suffering would come. In Luke 21:19, He says, “By your endurance, you will gain your souls.” The original Greek word for endurance, ὑπομονή (hypomonē), goes far beyond simple patience. It means courageous perseverance under pressure, a steadfast holding on even in the face of hardship.
This endurance is not about surviving just to get by, it is a defining mark of genuine faith. In John 16:33, Jesus tells His disciples, “In the world you will have tribulation (θλῖψις – thlipsis), but take heart; I have overcome the world.” Here, θλῖψις describes intense pressure or crushing distress. Still, Jesus assures His people that His victory is already secured and so, we endure with hope, not despair.
Paul echoes this in Romans 5:3–4, where he writes that “tribulation produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.” This process, rooted in suffering, is the very path God uses to shape and strengthen His people.
Yet, within Christian circles, a dangerous teaching has spread: the idea that once someone is “saved,” they can never fall away, no matter how they live afterward. This is the doctrine of “once saved, always saved.” While it sounds comforting, it is not what the original Scriptures teach.
In Matthew 24:13, Jesus solemnly declares, “ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται” , “But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” The verb ὑπομείνας (hypomeinas) points to an active, ongoing perseverance, and σωθήσεται (sōthēsetai) is future tense, meaning salvation is something completed at the end, not merely begun in the past.
Nowhere in Scripture is salvation described as a guaranteed, permanent status regardless of one’s choices. In fact, the Bible warns repeatedly against falling away. Hebrews 10:26–27 states that if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the truth, only judgment remains. The Greek phrase ἑκουσίως ἁμαρτανόντων refers to persistent, willful sin, turning one’s back on Christ.
Even Paul, a pillar of the early Church, wrote in 1 Corinthians 9:27, “μὴ πως ἀδόκιμος γένωμαι”, “lest I become disqualified.” He understood that faith must be kept and lived, not presumed.
The idea of automatic, unbreakable salvation removes the need for vigilance, repentance, and spiritual discipline. Luke 13:24 uses the word ἀγωνίζεσθε (agonizesthe), “strive” or “struggle”, to describe what it takes to enter the narrow gate. This is a spiritual race requiring focus and perseverance.
Satan’s lies often sound pleasing, and “once saved, always saved” is one of his most subtle. It whispers, “You don’t need to press on. You don’t need to fight temptation. You’re already safe.” But this contradicts the message of Jesus, the apostles, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance through the Scriptures.
In 2 Peter 2:20–22, those who have escaped sin through Christ but return to it are said to be in a worse state than before. The Koine Greek words ἐμπλακέντες (entangled again) and ἡττῶνται (overcome) make it clear, this is not security, it is slavery reborn.
