Matthew 18 - (Continued)
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
In Matthew 18, Jesus teaches that the greatest in God’s kingdom are those who humble themselves like little children. He warns against leading children or others into sin and says it's better to lose a part of your body than be thrown into hell because of sin.
Jesus says not to look down on children, for their angels see God. He came to save the lost, like a shepherd who searches for one missing sheep. If someone sins against you, talk to them privately. If they won’t listen, bring others, then the church. If they still refuse, treat them as outsiders.
Jesus tells Peter to forgive others not just seven times, but seventy times seven. He ends with a parable about a king who forgave a servant’s large debt, but that same servant refused to forgive a smaller debt owed to him by another. The king punished him, showing that God expects us to forgive others just as He forgives us.

“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
