A:Because they did not wash their hands when they eat bread.

A: By their tradition.
Q: God said to honor your father and mother, and anyone who curses them shall be put to death. However, the scribes and Pharisees teach that whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, What you would have gained from me is given to God. So, he does not need to honour his father or his mother, he shall be free.
What does this do to the word of God for the sake of tradition?
A: Makes it null and void.

Perseverance: Staying Strong Through Trials
Perseverance means continuing to work toward a goal, even when things get hard or take a long time. It’s about not giving up, even when we face challenges, delays, or hardships. James 1:12 tells us, “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” This shows that those who stay faithful through trials will be rewarded by God. Similarly, Romans 5:3-4 explains that suffering is not meaningless because it builds perseverance, which shapes our character and leads to hope.
Philippians 4:13 gives us confidence by reminding us that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” God gives us the strength we need to keep going. Hebrews 12:1 encourages us to let go of sin and distractions so we can “run with endurance the race that is set before us,” just as others have before us.
