Although the truth is hard to face, and the traditions of man are so easy to conform to, change is necessary. We follow and serve the One true God who raised our Savior from the dead. Not Ishtar, the fertility goddess. Let's not get this confused, mixing in pagan beliefs and traditions with God's sacred days.
Today is the day Jesus was raised from the dead, His Resurrection Day, the day that secured our chance at eternal life in Heaven with the Father and the Son. Not Ishtar or Easter, as they call it. Once we learn the truth as His followers, we must stand on it. Otherwise, we look like the world, and are conformed to it, serving other gods.
Exodus 20:3
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world.
