🇮🇱❌🇯🇴🚰 — On Nov 25th, the Jordanian members of Parliament has sent another message to the Minister of Water and Irrigation requesting answers for the following questions:

1- How many digital water meters have been installed in Aqaba Governorate?

2- What is the name of the company that manufactures these meters and what is their country of origin?

3- Does the Ministry of Water or the Aqaba Water Company have (software) for these meters and provide me with proof of that?

4- In light of what we witnessed of the pager device bombings in Lebanon, are there guarantees that the Israeli batteries in these meters are safe and provide proof of that?

5- After confirming through a test conducted at the Aqaba Water Company, it was proven that the meters used which double the value of bills, so why does the Aqaba Water Company insist on using these meters?

➡️On 27th September the MPs sent a first message demanding the dismantling of these Israeli meters since they double the bills often.

➡️It's worthy to note that Jordan relies heavily on water from Israel, this comes after Wadi Arabba agreement and the regime giving up on sources of water.

➡️Earlier this year the Jordanian minister of water and irrigation has stated that Jordan has become the poorest country in terms of water.
