According to a document prepared by the security establishment, the cost of military rule in Gaza amounts to 20 billion shekels (5.5b$) annually, in addition to building an additional corridor at a cost of about 150 million shekels. All this does not include the cost of ongoing operations. In terms of military strength, four offensive divisions and one defensive division will be needed. Transferring manpower to the sector would require reducing the number of battalions in Northern Command and Central Command, and would require significant amount of reservatives.

Defense minister gallant came out few days ago and said Israel shouldn't control Gaza as it'd be very catastrophic for Israel and would result in many israeli soldiers deaths.
Netanyahu, Ben Gver, and Smotrich, on the other hand, accused him of attempting to establish a palestinian state, and affirmed they're not going to let the Palestinian authorities to rule over Gaza.

The floating sea dock can never be an alternative to the land crossings of the Gaza Strip.

🇺🇦🪖📃 — The President of Ukraine Volodomyr Zelenskyy signed a new law on mobilization, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

In the new law:
➡️ The age of those being mobilized has been reduced from 27 to 25 years
➡️ The clause on demobilization has been excluded
➡️ Men aged 18 to 60 years are required to present military registration documents at the request of police officers, border guards and the military registration and enlistment office
➡️ Those recognized as partially fit must come back to the medical commission
➡️ Within 60 days, those liable for military service must appear at the TCC to clarify their registration data
➡️ Consular services for Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 years will not be provided without military registration documents
➡️ Men previously recognized as partially fit for service will be required to undergo re-examination within 12 months
🔴 Persons who received disability group II or III after February 24, 2022 (except military personnel) are subject to repeated medical examination to determine suitability for service
➡️ Restriction of the right to drive a car for those evading military service
➡️ the document provides that the summons will be considered received even without delivery in person
🔴 Police officers and civil servants of category “A”, assistants to deputies and owners of strategic enterprises received reservations from mobilization
🔴 Students receiving a second higher education were left without the right to a deferment
🔴 the document also instructs Ukrainians abroad to register for military service

📃 The document will come into force one month after the day following its publication.

➡️ The Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Lubinets believes that the bill in the form in which it was approved by the Rada and signed by the President of Ukraine is the best option that could be hoped for.

🗳 He also added that now, in his opinion, the procedure looks as democratic as possible, without coercion.
