Israel faces a shortage of interceptor missiles.

In half an hour, the Knesset Committee will meet to prepare for the second and third readings of a bill that would allow the deportation of the families of “terrorists.”

The proposal is being led by coalition chairman Ofir Katz, in collaboration with Almog Cohen and several other MKs.

The bill would give the Interior Minister the authority to decide to deport the family members of a “terrorist” without requiring additional judicial approval.

The current text of the bill is expected to be opposed by the government’s and the Knesset’s legal advisers.
