I have no words to describe the humiliation I felt, I thought that my son, who gave his life to the country, who loved the country 9 years since his arrival with all his heart, who really entered the army to protect me, his family and all of us, is no different from the other guys. I thought he is not a second class person. I stood there and cried with anger and frustration.

The area between the two lines is a demilitarized zone under the control of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF).

➡️According to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, the Syrian and Israeli armies are prohibited from deploying heavy or medium weapons in the demilitarized zone, and are permitted to erect bunkers, defensive fortifications, and extend barbed wire.

➡️The Israeli army, according to reports, entered the demilitarized zone and raised high defensive earthen barriers. Its bulldozers also opened defensive trenches and covered them with sand dugouts.
