In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] in the least.

Today, the esteemed jihadist leader, Hajj Ibrahim Aqil (Hajj Abdul Qader), has joined the ranks of his martyred brothers, the great leaders of the resistance, after a life filled with blessed jihad, sacrifices, wounds, perseverance, challenges, accomplishments, and victories. He was always worthy of this exalted divine honor.

Jerusalem was forever in his heart, mind, and soul, both day and night. His passion for Jerusalem fueled his every step, and his greatest dream was to pray in its sacred mosque.

With immense pride and honor, the Islamic Resistance today bids farewell to one of its great leaders, now a martyr on the path to Jerusalem. We pledge to his pure soul that we will remain steadfast in pursuing his goals, hopes, and the path he carved, until victory is achieved, God willing.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and congratulations to our Master, the Master of the Age, peace be upon him, to His Eminence the Leader Khamenei, may his shadow endure, and to all the mujahideen and resistance fighters across all arenas. We also offer these sentiments to the devoted and loyal supporters of the resistance, on the martyrdom of this great jihadist leader, alongside his martyred brothers.

In particular, we address their noble families, extending to each one of them our prayers for patience and divine reward in this life and the hereafter. May God Almighty accept this dear one from us, and from them, and gather him with the Messenger of God and his pure family, peace be upon them, uniting him with the caravan of martyrs of the luminous Karbala.

We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), to the brothers in Hezbollah, and to the brotherly Lebanese people, extend our sincere condolences on the ascension of the great leader Ibrahim Aqeel (Hajj Abdel Qader), who rose to greatness with a group of martyred leaders, in a cowardly assassination operation carried out by fascist occupation aircraft. In the southern suburb of Beirut, after a long and honorable journey he spent on the path of jihad and resistance.

31 martyrs, including 3 children and 7 women, in the Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, with 68 others injured.
