what's happening looks like an attack on weapons loaded trucks sent to Hezbollah threw Syria or an attack on Hezbollah troops transferred from Syria back to Lebanon.

What seems interesting here is the fact that Israel is not waiting for those shipping routs to be completely in Lebanese soil to strike them rather on shared soil which looks to he a sign that Netanyahu (prime minister of Israel) is ready for a total war as trump looks like he is taking power and is threatening Syria's sovereignty for the sole reason that the Syrian regime/ Syrian soil could attack Israel if a total war breaks out.

Now this could be a good strategic goal for all Israel, America, Russia and Iran's visions of what the future holds.

Israel and America would benefit immensely from winning a war against the axis in multiple ways for visions in the Middle East through weakening Iran's regime and keeping the pro Syrian regime militias busy to help overthrow or at least weaken Asad's control over Syria additionally get rid of the threat of a state actor bordering Israel like Asad's regime being non tolerant towards them.

Iran would benefit from winning a war like that even more, they would firstly be able to further spread there revolution towards citizens of monarchies as most of these citizens agree with there monarchies on everything but the palestinian issue and it would be able to weaken Israel and prove to the Arab world that militarily defeating Israel is possible and it's not an impossible task, Israeli citizens are most likely going to flee as a war like that breaks out just like how on oct 7th 800K of them fled and 80% of those who fled said they will never go back to Israel.

The question here comes whether or not Israel has enough allies in the region to to protect it like Jordan and Egypt and whether it could replenish weapons mid war or not which are probably the main two issues regarding if Iran will go on a total war with Israel.
