⚡️🇮🇷🇴🇲 – A new Iranian strike took place in the Strait of Hormuz. The UKMTO reports that a tanker was struck by at least one projectile, sparking a fire and causing an unknown amount of damage, but no casualties.

🇸🇦❌🇾🇪 – Between 2 and 4 explosions were reported in Sana'a, the capital of Houthi (Ansarullah) controlled Yemen.

The strikes have been attributed to the Saudi Airforce, and will likely be responded by a large-scale Houthi missile attack.

⚡️🇧🇷🗳 – New polls for the Brazilian presidential election, the first round of which will be held this Sunday, show leftist incumbent Lula da Silva has retaken the lead against his right-wing, Trump-backed opponent, Flavio Bolsonaro.

The race is expected to be very tight, and Brasilia has expressed concern for election interference by both the U.S. and Russia to European partners.

For now, it's practically guaranteed that both Lula and Bolsonaro will win the first round and make it to the runoff.

🇺🇸❌🇮🇷 - The USS Theodore Roosevelt, a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, is headed for the Middle East to join the war against Iran.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt, the flagship vessel of Carrier Strike Group 9, left San Diego last Sunday. It will bring new munitions and up to 10,000 troops to the theater.

The deployment came as President Trump ramped up rhetoric against Iran in recent remarks. The CSG 9 is expected to arrive in the region around December, after the midterm election.

Two other carriers are operating under US CENTCOM, the USS George Washington and the USS George H.W. Bush, having replaced the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald Ford respectively. The Theodore Roosevelt CSG would be the 5th out of the 11 CSGs to be deployed in the 7 months of fighting in Iran.

It is currently unclear whether the USS Theodore Roosevelt will replace another carrier group or bring the total number of carriers deployed in the region to 3.

🇾🇪⚡️🇾🇪🇸🇦-Ansarullah’s offensive around Taizz continues to see success with Houthi advances and infiltration attempts reported across multiple fronts southwest and southeast of the city, several important supply routes have also been severely impacted including the Hayjat Al-Abd and Al Turbah roads which are now practically unusable.

➡️ Southwest of Taizz city footage recently surfaced of a Houthi tank operating in Banu Bukari along with footage emerging of a column of Ansarullah fighters entering the town of As Safiyah as well as severing the Al- Turbah road.

➡️ Southeast of Taizz city Ansarullah has begun advancing southeast of Ad Dimnah along with reaching the Hayjat Al- Abd road where media surfaced of the road being damaged with Houthi explosives.
