⚡️🇵🇸🇵🇸❌🇵🇸🇮🇱 - At near 10:20 AM local time in Gaza, an IDF-backed Anti-Hamas Palestinian syndicate force infiltrated northern Gaza's west Gaza city near the American Hospital on motorcycles and a convoy of vans in an attempt to neutralize or capture a member of Gaza's Internal Security Service.

The infiltrating members, at least 10, dismounted their vehicles and opened fire on site, who were then engaged by Palestinian security forces in the area, resulting in causalities amongst the syndicate. The IDF then interfered and struck the area with artillery and surrounding vehicles with at least 16 drone strikes, aiding the syndicate in evacuating the KIA and withdrawing. The IDF support fire resulted in the deaths of 3 Palestinians, of whom 2 are children and a woman, alongside 8 injuries.

Ismail AlThawabta Director-General of Gaza's Government Media Office has confirmed that the infiltrating syndicate suffered deaths as a result of the engagement. Reports suggest the intended target survived the assassination/kidnapping attempt.

⚡️🇵🇸🇵🇸❌🇮🇱 - The IDF ploy to capture the Chief of Internal Security Service in Gaza has failed, and Katz' claim of capturing the "senior Hamas member" is outright false.

However, the syndicate did succeed in capturing an officer in the Internal security, Mu‘in Al‘Arabid, after falling injured whilst participating in the clashes to compensate.

⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇷💣 – The Iranian launchers struck yesterday in Larak Island were equipped with rare mine-deploying rockets, according to The War Zone, a capability that could give Iran the ability of more easily shutting down the Strait at the worst possible time.

It is not known whether U.S. CENTCOM had already seen Iran use this capability, or just how much Iranian forces have adopted it, but it is known that the missile systems are likely a variant of the Fajr-5 equipped with a mine warhead.

The Center for International and Maritime Security put it best in a report made last year:

While the Fajr-5’s estimated payload capacity is light compared to U.S. or Chinese naval mines, the mines the rockets could deliver are still heavier than diver-delivered limpet mines and could conceivably disable a ship if struck by enough mines from the field.

Most importantly, this field could be delivered rapidly and with little warning. Even though the explosive capacity of this mine individually is small, the psychological impact from inflicting minor damage on a small number of merchants could still be enough to force shipping companies to avoid the area.

⚡️🇮🇷💣 – Iran had actually demonstrated this capability all the way back in January 2025, and claimed it would be able to seed hundreds of naval mines in an hour.

This type of system, an MLRS-based mine-launcher, is likely what the U.S. struck yesterday in Larak.
