The U.S. government will have holding rights to a 35% stake in the company and veto power at the board. The infiltrating members, at least 10, dismounted their vehicles and opened fire on site, who were then engaged by Palestinian security forces in the area, resulting in causalities amongst the syndicate. The IDF then interfered and struck the area with artillery and surrounding vehicles with at least 16 drone strikes, aiding the syndicate in evacuating the KIA and withdrawing. The IDF support fire resulted in the deaths of 3 Palestinians, of whom 2 are children and a woman, alongside 8 injuries.
Ismail AlThawabta Director-General of Gaza's Government Media Office has confirmed that the infiltrating syndicate suffered deaths as a result of the engagement. Reports suggest the intended target survived the assassination/kidnapping attempt.
