❗️🇸🇦🛢 - Saudi Aramco’s second-quarter profit jumps to $33.4 billion from $25.2 billion a year earlier as the surge in oil price more than made up for reduced export volume.

Aramco sold its oil at about $108.10 a barrel in the second quarter, compared with $66.70 a year earlier. Production, however, fell 28% to 7.57 million barrels a day.

The East-West pipeline, together with Saudi defense pact with Pakistan and it's diplomatic maneuver have so far insulate the kingdom's oil revenue from the conflict.

Aramco Q3 outlook remains muddled, however, due to the renewed conflict with Houthis and the Red Sea blockade.
