U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed a new wave of offensive strikes against Iran, July 12, hitting dozens of targets at multiple locations with precision munitions to degrade Iran’s ability to continue attacking international shipping flowing through the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM forces struck Iranian military air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats using U.S. fighter aircraft, naval vessels, one-way attack aerial drones, and one-way attack sea drones for the first time.

The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade. Iran does not control it.

U.S. forces are postured and prepared to ensure that freedom of navigation remains available to commercial shipping despite Iran’s continued unwarranted aggression, harassment, threats, and arbitrary declarations.

“We would like to inform the esteemed people of Iran that, in the third phase of the "reciprocal action" operation, and in response to the violations committed by the arrogant and overbearing American regime, the Space Force fighters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps destroyed fuel depots and "Patriot" air defense systems at the American base in Ali Salem, Kuwait, as well as a strategic "FPS" radar system at Ahmed Al-Jaber base.

The "reciprocal action" operations carried out by your brave sons are ongoing.

The Strait of Hormuz is our land, and we will not allow a rogue army and a child-killer from another part of the world to continue its illegal interference in it.”

The repeated adventurism and hostile actions of the United States regarding interference in the management of the Strait of Hormuz have seriously jeopardized regional security, international trade, and the transit of oil tankers and commercial vessels. Regrettably, the cooperation of certain regional nations has further escalated the risk of regional conflict.

Consequently, we declare:

In accordance with prior warnings, the United States shall not be permitted to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz under any circumstances. The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will decisively address any attempt by the U.S. military to disrupt the security of commercial vessels and oil tankers traversing routes outside those designated by Iran or without authorization from the Iranian Armed Forces. The robust actions undertaken by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army in recent days serve as evidence of this resolve.

Leaders of regional nations are warned that any cooperation with the United States, including the provision of logistical support to its military, constitutes an act of war against Iran's sovereignty and national security. Should conflict spread throughout the region, the resulting warfare will engulf all nations within the area.

The responsibility for all insecurity and the expansion of war in the region rests with the United States and the nations that cooperate with its military forces.
