⚡️ 🇮🇱 - The Israeli Ministry of Defense has announced upgrading the "Iron Dome" SHORAD, following a series of extensive tests incorporating lessons learnt from the war on Iran.
The tests were carried out by the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D) alongside Rafael. The upgrades are claimed to improve the SHORAD's ability to intercepting MLRS, Cruise Missiles, and UAVs.
The tests included the firing of 122mm MLRS and "Arash" replica UAVs. Additionally, the "Iron Beam" Laser Air-Defense system was employed as well.
