The evacuation warning did not include the city's Christian quarter. Recently, the IDF has detected activity by dozens of Hezbollah operatives within the Christian quarter. This is not the first time we have exposed Hezbollah activity from within Christian areas, based on its belief that these areas provide it with a safer haven. To the Christian community of Tyre: The Hezbollah terrorist organization, which has led Lebanon to ruin and caused immense destruction to you and your fellow citizens, continues the same tactics today within your communities. For your safety and security, demand the removal of the terrorist organization's operatives from your areas. To the Hezbollah terrorists present in Tyre: You are not safe there. If you continue to remain and operate from within this area, the IDF will issue instructions to evacuate the Christian Quarter and will take the necessary measures against you.
