➡️ Three options have been put forward, ranging from approximately 215 unarmed military observers with two protective battalions to a larger force of around 350 observers supported by four infantry battalions and a reserve force of 700 soldiers.

➡️ Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon dismissed the proposal, stating that "the UN is now proposing to replace a failed force with a new force under a different name," and arguing that a force that failed to prevent Hezbollah from arming itself for two decades would not produce different results under a new mandate.
