Iran, within the framework of its national sovereignty and the guarantee of international trade security, has prepared a professional mechanism to manage traffic in the Strait of Hormuz along a designated route, which will be unveiled soon.

In this process, only commercial vessels and parties cooperating with Iran will benefit from it.

The necessary fees will be collected for the specialized services provided under this mechanism.

This route will remain closed to the operators of the so‑called “freedom project."

We, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), mourn the loss of our great leader, the martyred commander Az-Zaddin Al-Haddad, who was killed in a cowardly and treacherous Israeli assassination attack targeting him and his family and a number of innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip on the evening of Friday, May 15, 2026, after a long life dedicated to jihad, sacrifice, preparation, and steadfastness in the face of the occupation, until his last moments.

Commander Abu Shaykh exemplified the steadfast and resilient jihadi leader who devoted his life to the resistance and preparation against the occupation. He was a pillar of the resistance project in the Gaza Strip and a beacon for the jihadis, a formidable barrier against attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause and break the will of our people. His wise leadership, field guidance, and management of the confrontation with the occupation, particularly during the Operation Storm of the Al-Aqsa campaign, inspired the heroes of Al-Qassam and posed a formidable challenge to the enemy and its army.

The martyrdom of Commander Az-Zaddin Al-Haddad, and the ongoing Israeli crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, reaffirm the criminal and fascist nature of this terrorist entity and its disregard for all international laws and conventions. Its failed attempts to impose political and military faits accomplis through assassinations and pressure on the resistance leadership and its political positions, and to break the will of our people and their steadfastness on their land, demonstrate the international community's - particularly the mediating and guarantor powers of the agreement - responsibility to act immediately and seriously to compel the occupation government to fully abide by the agreement and stop its crimes and ongoing aggression against innocent civilians. The international community's continued silence and lack of real pressure on the war criminal Netanyahu, who is a modern-day Hitler, have emboldened the occupation to persist in its bloody approach and ongoing aggression against our people.

While mourning this great commander, we affirm that his pure blood and the blood of all other martyred commanders and jihadis will not be in vain, but will remain fuel for the liberation struggle and a guiding light on the path to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa. The path of jihad and resistance will continue, stronger and more resilient, and the crimes of assassination and terrorism will not succeed in breaking the will of our people or deterring them from upholding their rights and national constants.

We call on our Palestinian people to further unity, cohesion, and steadfastness, and to thwart all the occupation's schemes aimed at undermining our people's unity and resistance. We affirm that our people, who have offered these blessed cohorts of martyred commanders, are capable, with Allah's permission, of continuing the liberation journey until the occupation is defeated and our national rights are fully restored.

May Allah Most High grant mercy to the great martyred commander Az-Zaddin Al-Haddad, Abu Shaykh, and forgive him, and grant him admission to the highest paradise among the prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and the righteous.
