➡️ The Ohio class are among the largest and most powerful submarines in the US Navy, capable of carrying up to 24 Trident II D5 ballistic missiles with a range of over 7,000 miles, and can be armed with nuclear warheads.

➡️ The class serves as a cornerstone of the United States' nuclear deterrent. Also, some vessels have been converted to carry conventional Tomahawk cruise missiles in a guided missile submarine (SSGN) configuration.
