TRUTH: No U.S. Navy ships have been struck. U.S. forces are supporting Project Freedom and enforcing the naval blockade on Iranian ports.

U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers are currently operating in the Arabian Gulf after transiting the Strait of Hormuz in support of Project Freedom. American forces are actively assisting efforts to restore transit for commercial shipping. As a first step, 2 U.S.-flagged merchant vessels have successfully transited through the Strait of Hormuz and are safely headed on their journey.

The United States destroyers, a few hours ago, attempted to approach the Strait of Hormuz by turning off their radars in the Sea of Oman, but immediately after turning their radars back on, they were detected and faced a radio warning from the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army regarding the dangers of violating the ceasefire. The brave soldiers of the army, after the American destroyers ignored the warning, explicitly stated in a renewed warning that any attempt to enter the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a violation of the ceasefire and would be met with a response from the naval forces.
