❗️🇺🇸 - The sixth attempt to rein in the war in Iran has been defeated in the US Senate.

Theoretically, Congress authorization is required to continue the war in beyond a 60-day limit set by the War Powers Act. The measure, which would have mandated the US forces to withdraw, was defeated by a vote of 47 to 50.

Senator Fetterman (D-Pa.) was the only Democrat that supported the war. Senators Collins (R-Me) and Paul (R-Ky) were the only two Republicans voting against President Trump.

Senator Rand Paul has been the biggest opponents of foreign war in the senate. Senator Collins, on the other hand, flipped against the war because she is expecting a difficult reelection race in Maine, a blue state.

➡️ Green flag aviation is a Sudanese airline that was always accused of smuggling weapons for the Wagner group and helping to arm the Sudanese Armed Forces but this was never confirmed. Now that there is confirmation of one of these aircrafts being in Mali (most likely to help the Russian Africa Corps) the accusations were correct.

➡️ Green flag aviation was also put on the EU banned air carriers list since March 2010 due to safety concerns and as of January 2026, the carrier is listed as "Idle".
